Health & Wellness

The mission given Christ’s disciples is to preach, teach, and heal. Churches today can offer health and wellness programs to bring about healing, working along with the health care system, to keep people well, to empower them, to educate them, to advocate for them, and to care for them.

The following table provides local contacts for health and wellness programs:

 Deaf Ministry

Deaf people are one of the largest unreached people groups in the world. Some estimates state that only 8 percent of deaf people attend church, and less than 4 percent claim a personal relationship with Jesus. Deaf ministry programs tackle the challenge of sharing God’s messages of love and hope with the deaf, addressing the special needs for deaf church members, and reaching out to deaf people in the community.
